MASSANJORE  DAM

MASSANJORE  DAM ,  over the Mayurakshi River , located at Massanjore near Dumka in the Jharkhand State . It is a Hydroelectric Power Generating Dam. It was commissioned in 1956. The dam is 155 feet height from its base and 2170 feet long. At this Massanjore Dam you can enjoy the natural greenery and inspiring view of the blue water. It is one of the perfect places for family and friends for weekend trip and enjoy the nature. A great view from the Mayurakshi River is found in this Massanjore Dam.         The main attraction of Massanjore is Massanjore Dam. This Dam is a hydroelectric power generating dam. The view of hills and forests from the massanjore dam is awsome. Here's a village , known as tribal handicraft.

          The main attraction of Tatloi is natural hot water springs and it's spellbinding atmosphere with clean view of water. This hot springs are source of Helium and the hot water springs is considered for healthy. It is situated at a distance of 15 km from Dumka. Another attractions of tatloi are Ramgarh hills and Bhurbhuri River.

          Baba Sumeshwarnath is a famous religious place in the district (Saraiyahat Block). It located at a distance of 60 km from the main township. Here's main festival is Mahashivaratri. Offering holy water from Ganges with devotee's prayer.

HOW TO REACH MASSANJORE DAM
